Rachel Rosenthal was a writer and solo performer based in Los Angeles. I toured several shows with her. The show below, filename:FUTURFAX was a show we put on all over europe and the US. This show was just her, me and a box of lightbulbs, hand props and a few lighting templates. The venue would supply the furniture and I would hang the bulbs around the space. She was always game to try new things with the bulbs hanging. We ran the show at the San Jose Museum of Art and they had no overhead pipes to hang bulbs from, so I set them on the floor around the performance space. Sometimes we were in large theatre venues, soemtimes small stages in a club, and once in a grand 18th century room in Salzburg. We also toured four other pieces. The promoter could select based on what they wanted to spend and present. Filename was just me and her. But the other pieces had a live musician and projection and more complicated scenery and platforming. We toured her shows from 92-96 and had all kinds of great adventures seeing things.
